Who we are

 

We are a 5th grade class from Iowa.  We are excited to learn and experience other countries cultures through the lens of student perspectives and reflective writing.

 

About our project

 

We are collaborating with a classroom in China.  We will take photos of our culture that are centered around weekly themes that tie into our curricular content to share, reflect and post to our blog spot for our collaborative partners to view, learn, and share comments back.  Our collaborating classroom will do the same.  A great abundance of technology will be used througout the project with the culminating project being each classroom will curate the photos and reflections and create a multimedia project comparing/contrasting our different cultures and highlighting what students have learned.
